This event is co-hosted by the Auburn Avenue Research Library on African American Culture and History and The ArtsXchange. The ArtsXchange (Southeast Community Cultural Center) is a nonprofit, multicultural, multidisciplinary, multi-ethnic, inter-generational arts organization. And these essays are a much needed education for this white feminist. Much of these topics reflect Cooper’s experience but she invokes the experiences of others.Ĭooper’s writing is both academic and accessible.
